Leland Capital provides an alternate source of funding to small businesses with our cash flow revenue product. We make small investments, for short amounts of time, in small companies. Specifically, we invest $50,000 to $200,000 for 6 to 18 months in companies with sales of less than $5 million per year and which have fewer than 20 employees. Our goal is to deliver a source of capital to businesses which typically don’t qualify for more traditional financing, such as bank loans or venture capital.
Capital is the life-blood of any business, but it is especially critical to small businesses. Without access to capital, they can’t grow, add employees, expand product lines, or fund large expenses. Lack of adequate funding can threaten a small business’ very existence.
The traditional source of capital and funding for small businesses has been banks. Yet, even as the economy is showing signs of improvement, banks remain hesitant to lend to small businesses and small business owners. With banks freezing credit to small businesses, it is critical to make identifying and diversifying financing sources a priority.
Future Revenues Purchasing
Leland Capital is not a lender. Instead, we buy a portion of your future revenue – sales your company has not yet made – for an upfront lump sum payment. Our transactions range from a minimum of $50,000 up to $200,000 and we offer three funding terms: 6 months, 12 months or 18 months. Our investment model is fairly unique. We look to bridge the gap between long-term financing options, like bank loans and equity investments; and short-term options like factoring. Our model is also flexible. We seek out companies who need capital to help them “bridge” to a future event:
- Rapid Sales Growth
- New Product Line
- Additional Headcount
- New Marketing or Promotion Strategy
- Payment of One-Time or Non-Recurring Expenses
Leland Capital can provide exactly the critical funding option small businesses need.
